Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your Excel skills? Whether you are a novice to Excel or just want to learn how to use the newest version, this is the workshop for you! Join us as we explore the basics of Excel 2007. Participants will use provided laptops to work hands-on with the instructor to create spreadsheets, embed charts, and create formulas. Excel financial functions such as averages, and payment schedules will also be covered. Only basic computer knowledge will be assumed.

This workshop is a full day session designed to teach participants more advanced strategies and techniques in utilizing Microsoft Excel 2007 in the financial management of their business. Attendees are assumed to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Students will learn how to use Excel to create templates to be used in creating budgets, tracking performance, and analyzing results. Financial functions, data tables, amortization schedules and hyperlinks will also be covered. Participants will create charts and learn how to use pivot tables. Special emphasis will be placed on using Excel to manage customer lists and track expenses. Importing information into Excel from programs such as QuickBooks, and Peachtree accounting software will also be highlighted. This will be an interactive hands-on workshop where students manipulate Microsoft Excel on trainer provided laptop computers.
