The Northwest Regional office can help you learn how to start your own business, or purchase an existing one, assist you with writing a business plan, assist with learning how to better market your products and services, improve your management skills, learn to read and understand your financial statements, assist you with accounting programs, feasibility analysis and other topics and services to provide you and your business with professional expertise and guidance.

The Northwest Regional office is part of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) which is currently the largest management and technical assistance program serving the small business sector in the U.S.  It is a non-profit organization that is funded by the State of Minnesota, Small Business Administration (SBA) and local partners.   The program provides free, confidential, one-to-one consulting services to existing and start-up business on a variety of business topics.  SBDC offices offer these services through a network of consultants and through low-cost trainings on popular business topics.
